About the Author

I am a recent college graduate who loves movies. I wrote a report on George Lucas when I was in fourth grade and the following year did another report on Steven Spielberg. I was biased by Indiana Jones and Star Wars. I have moved on from my elementary school days (I still love those two men though) and the number of movies I’ve seen as expanded as has my knowledge.

I also often try to imagine my dull life as a movie. I often have to stop myself from walking in slow motion and pretending my dull walk to class is a sexy chase. I also listen to music constantly as if it were a soundtrack to my life.

I’m not a film connoisseur or any crap like that. I do know a bit of technical jargon with film (see I just used the word film), but there are plenty of things I know nothing about. My knowledge of film comes from watching a large number of movies over the years as well as the little personal research I’ve put forth.

If you need to contact me outside of posting on the blog try thefilmdaze@gmail.com 1 or @thefilmdaze on twitter.

Note: As of Summer of 2012 I started an additonal blog, I Do Not Talk, where ideally I’ll be posting little random things most likely not relating to movies. It’s my attempt to utilize my degree and to ramble about complete nonsense. Posts will most likely not be that frequent over there, but feel free to check it out anyways.

  3. Hello

We are interested in syndicating content from filmdaze.org into our network. There’s no cost for this, we ask you to place a module on your site that reads your content and syndicates it into our network of millions of users. You only need to place a simple html code on your site. I would like to speak or email with you first.

As background, Nsphere’ syndicated content and data is being used by over 2,700 websites world-wide (ranging from Car and Driver, Kiplinger, JD Power, Golf Week, Dogster…) and is responsible generating about 13 million unique visitors per month. We’ve recently opened up our platform to a wide range of blog and website content which is where we see a fit for your site.

This module acts as search tool for your users as well. Can you email me, call me, or send me your number and a good day/time to connect please?

    Thank you in advance.
